this particular painting/papier-collé goes back to my first university years in venice, where 1967 I begun my architecture studies on the IUAV. during my venetian life in seven years I changed home for about six times. that's the reason why walking trough all this papier-collé-artwork and coloured papertime layers you will discover time after time the map of the most magical city in the world.

Ich möcht endlich meinen Frieden zeichnen. Dazu verschmiere ich sehr viel Blau auf der Leinwand um mich aus diesen absurden Kriegen herauszuholen.  Genug mit Racheakten, Vergeltungsschlägen, Völkermorden, Angriffen, Strafexpeditionen und Blutbädern.  Vorrei finalmente disegnare la mia Pace. Perciò spalmo in abbondanza il blu sulla tela per tirarmi fuori da queste guerre assurde.  Basta con gli atti vendicativi, i colpi in risposta ad altri colpi, genocidi, attacchi, spedizioni punitive e bagni di sangue.  [acryliques et crayons sur toile, 80 x 80 cm, BS87.240212.MON]
